7 Super Effective Remedies To Get Rid Of Acne

Acne is one of the most common skin diseases; seems like every second person has it.
It can be caused due to over sebum production, hormonal changes, pollution etc.
Many products and treatments are available in the market but they come with side effects and are expensive as well.
In this video, I am going to show a few home remedies that will help you in treating acne without making a hole in your pocket.
1. Fuller’s Earth face pack
For this, you will need-
1 tablespoon of fuller’s earth (multani mitti)
2 tablespoon of rose water
a pinch of turmeric powder and
1 tomato
In a bowl, add fuller’s earth and mix it with rose water.
Cut the tomato into 2 halves and squeeze it in this mixture.
Now, add a pinch of turmeric powder and mix all the ingredients.
Apply this mask on your washed face and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Rinse it off with normal waer and pat dry your skin with a towel.
Apply this face mask twice a week for 4 weeks.
It starts showing results after 2 applications.
Fuller’s earth absorbs the extra oil from the skin pores and cleanses them, hence treats and prevents acne.
Rose water calms down the skin and makes the face pack consistent enough for application.
Turmeric has anti septic and anti bacterial properties.
It treats the acne naturally and adds glow to the face.
Tomato has anti oxidants and it soothes the skin.
2. Apple cider vinegar
Mix 1 part of apple cider vinegar with 4 parts of water in a bowl.
Apply this mixture with the help of a cotton ball on your face and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Then, rinse it off with normal water.
Do this remedy twice every week to prevent and cure acne.
Apple cider vinegar contains organic acids which help in treating acne and acne scars as well
3. Tea tree oil
Mix half a teaspoon of tea tree oil with 3 tablespoons of water.
Apply this mixture on your face and then massage it gently.
Let it sit for overnight and then rinse it off the next morning.
Do this remedy every alternate day for 2 weeks to get rid of acne.
Tea tree oil has anti bacterial and anti inflammatory properties which help in treating acne.
4. Aloe vera gel
Apply freshly extracted aloe vera gel on your face and massage it gently.
Apply it at night and leave it as it is for overnight.
Then, rinse it off the next morning with normal water.
Do this everyday and you’ll see amazing results.
Aloe vera gel contains salicylic acid which helps in treating the acne.
5. Green tea
Take 2 green tea bags and soak them in water for 2 minutes.
Now, put the bags in freezing zone of refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Massage your face with these bags gently.
Do this every alternate day for 3-4 weeks and all your acne will be cured.
Green tea contains anti oxidants which help in treating acne and acne scars.

6. Hydrate your skin Before Going To Bed:

Take 2-3 drops of Argan oil in your hand.

Rub the oil on your face and massage for 5 minutes in circular motions.

Leave it for 30 minutes.

Then, rinse it off with lukewarm water.

Apply this oil every night before going to bed for a glowing skin.

Argan oil is rich in Vitamin E and fatty acids that keep your skin hydrated for long.

It gives your skin its natural glow and helps in diminishing the appearance of open pores.

7. Use Clay Mask Once In A Week:

To prepare your own clay mask you’ll need

  • 2 tablespoons of bentonite clay or kaolin clay
  • 1 tablespoon of rose water
  • 1 tablespoon of raw milk
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 face brush
  • 1 spoon or spatula

Take a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of any clay of your choice.
